Email enquiries
When you write to us, we process your email address, your name if supplied, and your message to respond to your enquiry. Depending on its purpose, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering requests or taking pre-contractual steps at your request. Prospective customer correspondence is kept for three years after the last contact.
Appointment bookings
The booking link takes you away from this website to Calendly. We do not embed Calendly. Details supplied when booking are used to organise the meeting and prepare our conversation, based on pre-contractual steps or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
Calendly LLC is based in the United States. Calendly states that it participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and uses standard contractual clauses where applicable. See Calendly’s privacy notice for its processing, transfers and retention periods.
Technical hosting logs
The host may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and technical browser information (user-agent) in its logs. This supports the site’s security and operation on the basis of legitimate interest. Retention is limited by the host’s settings and policies.
Audience measurement, with your permission only
If you accept, we use PostHog with EU hosting to understand visits and clicks on calls to action. The legal basis is your consent. If you refuse, nothing is sent to PostHog.
Measurement uses no cookies or person profiles. Query strings and fragments are removed from URLs before sending. Technical information needed by the service, including the browser and IP address received with a request, may be processed to produce aggregated measurement. Events are retained according to the PostHog project’s retention settings. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Recipients and international transfers
Authorised DeepFirst staff access correspondence to respond to your requests. The host, our email service, Calendly for bookings and PostHog if you accept measurement process data within their respective roles. Bookings may involve transfers to the United States under the safeguards stated by Calendly. Audience events are sent to PostHog’s European service.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. You may also withdraw consent without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
